molasses during flowering

i have a few plants flowering that arent up to the usual par as far as trichrome amounts on the buds. I have raised this strain before and it usually is better looking than this. but i have decided to try and find some different phenos of the strain to find better effects that i like.

im going to get some molasses to try on them and see if that helps.
can i just use blackstrap molasses or do i need something diffrent.
how much do i use and is there a too much since it is natural? i would assume so so how much is it?

thanks in advance

I used molasses's all through this grow, once a week at the rate of 2 dessert spoons per 3 litres of water mixed into my usual nute solution.

I found that 2 spoons per 3 litres was maybe a lil bit to much,it did no harm but i could smell it in the soil to much for my liking anyway so i have reduced it to 1 dessert spoon per week in 3 litres of water mixed with my usual tomato plant food.

I also buy disposable dehumidifiers from the pound shop, probably called a dollar store where you are, this will help to get you more resinous buds as the plant will sense drops in moisture levels in the air and act accordingly and produce more trics.

On a final tip note i mix the molasses with some hot,not boiling, water in a small jug before i put it into the 3 litre container of water, mixing molasses in cold water is a pain in the ass.:blsmoke:

would it be possible to help a brother out
I buy it from my local health food shop in the high street, blackstrap molasses is what you need.
If you have no health food store where you are then you can order it online from any online health food store.
If you cant order online then i have heard that any sugary syrup is just as good alough i cannot confirm this i.e. make your own sugar syrup with water and sugar, goldensyrup, maple syrup etc.:blsmoke:

i can get that shit in my redneck towns grocery store. I am doing a sog grow in soil under a 400watt light. i have a dehumidifier that works pretty good(its for medical use) but my room is like 10ft long and 8ft wide, so to dehumidify I would have to build a box for my sog in. thatd be a pain. especially venting it. it would be good though because i own a co2 tank (i need regulator though). if i were to do thsi i could easily vent with some decent sized fans but how could i shut the exaust intake/outake. I dont have the money for an air cooled hood so, please no one even mention that. That comes next though. :)

The disposable dehumidifiers hold about a litre and a half of water and you can place them in various locations where they are needed and they work well:blsmoke:

How often can you feed molasses. I have read once a week 1-2 tbsp per gallon. Is that correct?
As far as i know molasses is only suitable for soil grows and i reduced the amount whilst feeding weekly as i felt it made the soil smell to much,i have since then only used 1 heaped dessert spoon per 3 litres once a week.

I also think that it caused the very slight nute burn of some of my plants as i mixed it with the nutes so it increases the level of nutes in the water as molasses is a kind of nute in itself.

I no longer mix it with the nutes and i feed molasses to the plants on Thursdays and nutes on Mondays seems to be fine with this:blsmoke:

How long does it take to actually notice the effects of molasses on your buds after feeding it?
I just picked up some Grandma's Molasses today and I'll let you know if and when I see a significant amount of bud swelling ( hopefully it lives up to it's hype )

Peace
