Not an expert on using molasses, but from what I've read about other peoples experiences with it........YES.......it WILL cause lock out if you use it too often or too much of it. If I remember right, the amount of potassium in it causes lockout of all other cations, so you will get cal, mag & iron deficiencies.
Kelp, neem, rockdust's and gypsum.................I think these ingredients in your soil are key to great flavour, I'm not a 'High Brix' gardener, but I do believe they're onto something..............might do some reading up on it

@backtracker says, molasses should only ever be used for feeding microbes, either in an AACT or very occasionally in your soil in small quantities.
Your plants roots actually exude the perfect balance of sugars into the soil...............
