Molasses fo flavor

I've read that Molasses adds great flavor, most suggest 1 or 2 teaspoons per gal water. She is in a 7 gal pot and on a FF feeding and watering schedule, i roll her outside in early mornings every 3 to 4 weeks to flush. Will the Molasses cause a nutrient lock?

Not an expert on using molasses, but from what I've read about other peoples experiences with it........YES.......it WILL cause lock out if you use it too often or too much of it. If I remember right, the amount of potassium in it causes lockout of all other cations, so you will get cal, mag & iron deficiencies.

Kelp, neem, rockdust's and gypsum.................I think these ingredients in your soil are key to great flavour, I'm not a 'High Brix' gardener, but I do believe they're onto something..............might do some reading up on it

As @backtracker says, molasses should only ever be used for feeding microbes, either in an AACT or very occasionally in your soil in small quantities.

Your plants roots actually exude the perfect balance of sugars into the soil...............

Rather your for or against molasses and if it's guna be something you do ....it's usually well into flower when molasses is used anyhow ....and if your growing organic yes it feeds the soil but if your not organic there's no point unless your trying to test if it fattens up buds or adds/enhances flavor ....

Use no more than a tsp per gallon or you could end up with problems, preferably ½ a teaspoon and don't use it all the time.

Thanks Guys.....I appreciate the input. She is growing in organic soil mixed with coco coir and perlite but not complete organics, I'm pretty sure at least one of the ff nutrients is not organic. Think i'll hold off on the molasses.

Just use the molasses as an ingredient in your compost teas, that is the best application of it.

The microbe herd feeds on it as they multiply
