it gives your plants important carbs and other trace nutrients and so it helps your buds fatten up.about half a teaspoon per litre of water is fine.you could in theory use caster sugar or honey also.i normally give it to mine about 2 or 3 weeks before harvest.

hey,
Ive heard very good thing and lots of americans swear by molasses. I think its because it adds suguar and isnt like fert or stims so can be done in the last weeks(during the flush)....
I think thats why,,
If you have some and more than one plant try it on one and not on the other. Then you will find out for yourself and you can tell me if its worth it or not..
take it easy,..

I use molasses and love it. I had a very obvious smell problem when you entered my home now it has been drastically reduced by it. Plus, I think my smoke has a mellower taste because of it.

I use Brer Rabbit Blackstrap Molasses. If you look at the labels you'll see that it has more micronutes as a percentage than say Grandma's Molasses.

I live in Michigan and find Brer Rabbit Blackstrap Molasses at my local Spartan store. Go State.

Edit-Yes, it does increase the size of your buds. But, I use it as soon as my babies are about 4 to 5 inches tall right thru harvest.

it provides micro nutrients to the soil that help with plant growth,I use around a tbl spoon per gallon.I dont use it in veg but when its time to switch to flower thats when I use it.it has to be unsulferized molasas, and also dont use it in hydro.it causes problems.the benifit of it is said to fatten up your buds a bit, some say 20% I dont know much it really works because I have never done a comparison with plants.but its cheap to buy and is said to do the same as some hydro additives that cost way more.theres alot of info on it here if you have the time to search for it. hope this helps and good luck

i use molasses through hole grow like a tablespoon per gal-- it adds to the good microorganism in the soil

i use it a little heavier after i flush in place of food from flush to chop--this seems to add weight, size, and sweetness to buds final stages

i grow in soil--i use it cause i think its good for me and my plants --but you have to do whats best for you

ther is a lot of nutes on market that has molasses as its base

good luck
keep em green

It increases microbial activity in the soil. Plant's don't absorb sugar or carbs, they make it themselves.

it helps destroy carbohydrates built up in plants when the flowering cycle begins. the side effect of this is greater photsythesis rate, greater chelating, and ability to fights disease. carbs are not good if they build up past a certain point.
