Well that depends. Are you doing a soil grow or hydro? For soil I use 1 tsp per gal with every watering. I feed them every other watering. With hydro I use 1 tsp per 5 gal. I have a ebb and flow so no jets or misters to clog up. Two days before I flush I add 1 tbs per 5 gal. After trying this my plants started taking up 3 times the water and growing like crazy so it must be doing something.

Are you still vegging or has it gone to flower? If vegging I'd stop until you start getting buds. I love how the molasses seems to make the buds get heavy and sticky but don't think you're gonna see much benefit during veg. except for the micro-nutrients you might be introducing.
During flowering I'll use a tablespoon per gallon of water up until I stop the nutrients for flushing.

use 2 tbsp to a gallon /4 liters is what i've been told man :)

This what Ive found myself not what Ive been told. If I did this in two months my soil would become toffy and my tanks would be full of foamy syurp. Any way this is what is working for me now. I think if you water with molasses once a week it might work but seeing how every thing is going so good now Ill just keep giving the plants some every watering but Ill keep it mellow and not over do it. (need those buds):bigjoint:

I know you said you're using soil, but...

To the hydro growers, especially those with airstones, be careful how much you add. If you add too much the water gets bubbly/sudsy, smells like ass and sticks all over the roots. Can't be a good thing. With my bubblin' buckets I generally stay around 1-3mL of molasses per gallon and no longer run into this issue.

Although I do think molasses in hydro may cause issues with pH swings after a few days. But at this point it's merely anecdotal for me, as this is my first DWC grow. I've had my nutrient solution become very acidic ater 2-3 days, dropping from 5.7 to 3.8pH :o

I water daily in one gallon HB's during flower. None during veg. I give them 2 capfuls Mollases per gallon of water every 3rd day. Suspect the cap holds about a Tablespoon or close enough for government work anyway.

cheers so how come you dont need any in veg
It's not going to hurt to use it in veg. Molasses has several benefits that aren't flower centric. It promotes microbial activity in soil, which is always beneficial. It acts as a chelator. And it contains some trace elements that are good for plants as well.

1 tbls per gallon once a week, dont over do it can cause problems in the soil. I sued it through out my grow but most people like it during flowering. I alos still use it in the last 2 weeks of harvest after i flushed
