I use it with every other watering mixed in with my nutrients at 1 tablespoon per gallon. You can use it with every watering, but in smaller amounts like half a tablespoon. Mix your molasses with a few tablespoons of warm water, and then dump it into whatever vessel holding the water for your plants. Mixing it in with some warm water first makes it much easier to incorporate. DO NOT store it overnight mixed into your water with nutrients. It'll cause fermentation and your mix will be spoiled. If that does happen don't water your plants with it. Try and use all of it at once the day you mix it.
