Mold keeps apearing on soil!!!! wtf? MG potting mix.

i keep getting white/blue mold growing on my soil during the dark cycle, wtf can i do to fix this i know its because of my lazy choice of shopping at walmart or soil n not going the extra few miles to the grow shop but yah how do i fix it..

and im going to re-pot with promix but will this mold spread or should i just kill these seedling and start over. they are 4 weeks old roughly

you can save the seedlings by giving them a warm water bath to wash the shitty soil off and then transplant into the good stuff. no need to kill them. good luck!

[FONT=&quot]Yeah, repot them with a good soil. You might be wise to add perlite and vermiculite (SP).

I suspect you might be over watering so perlite should help with aeration and drainage.[/FONT]

And quit watering so frequently.

The promix is easier to grow in.
Just make sure you wet the promix while
mixing it up before you transplant.
It doesnt wet thoroughly very easy out of the bag.

Other than that, ph 6.5 and it works great. The h2o2 mentioned
is a good way to get rid of the mold.

your water is likely contaminated. Use some peroxide. and when you transplant, rinse all the excess of and repot in sterile soil. you may also be overwatering, but its unlikely. if you were, you would have already had this issue.

i use sunshine mix #4 to great sucsess. its a quick drain, so its really hard to overwater. plus its eazy to dry out

Major downside is the cost of sunshine mixes. but for your size, one bale is enough. dont start in the sunshine tho, to much starter crapskis...

but the style of soil it is is the best ive found for cannabis. losse airy peated soil. contains perlite, vermiculite, and is aprox 70% peat by volume. good shit. its organic, and is allround great. takes organic ferts and nicely distributes the nutrients thru the containers.
