Mold on Buds?

I am currently in my 13th week of an indoor/outdoor bag grow. Started outdoor and moved to bud indoor under HPS lights 8 weeks ago. I currently have one plant that has a significant amount of white on the bud area. I am curious if this is mold or not. As I look at it and zoom in it looks like it is very much like Tricomes too. The plant has shown a white powdery substance on the leaves that I have treated to prevent mold. Advice on what should be done and if any of it is going to be worth keeping. I have two other plants in the same room and would like to know what potential there is for it to spread. This is all the same plant two different buds from the bottom and then the top.

Thats powdery mildew.Lower the humidity,increase air flow.I hate powdery mildew,any plant I grow that gets it, I gots to remove.Too try to get rid of it,mix 9oz. of water to 1oz. of milk,put it in a spray bottle and spray the leaves.The more expensive way to get rid of it, is useing a sulfur burner.

Thanks. That is what I thought it was. Great idea, I will try tomorrow. What about the buds? Should I be spraying the mold? Should I pull moldy buds now? The plant looks close to ready and I am in the 8th week of bud with no idea how long to go.

could be something eating at the buds therefore the buds are dieing and decaying. its happend before to me and it turned out it was catterpillers but i was growing outdoors at the time. inspect your nugs my man!

You have powdery mildew. It might be a little late in the game to fix the problem, but here you go. If this happened to me I would spray my plants with gc3 garlic extract(shulps makes a similar product), or plain water with some ph up added. You are kinda screwed. The garlic extract spray will leave your flowers smelling and tasting a little like garlic.

Note: Powdery mildew can only spread with u.v. on it. Whenever you cut down your plants and dry them, make CERTAIN they dry completely in a dark place. When you go to dry them try and do it fast. Use dry air and a fan!!!
