Mold or hairs? Pictures of microscoped buds

So these were harvested and dried in 3-4 days, cured for 1 week in jars. This batch was harvested early to bring some much needed relief to patients.
I'm curious if what I'm looking at is mold? This was given to me I did not grow it myself. Has no bad smell, it smells really sweet when crushed almost like haze as well gives a sweet then after smell of haze.
Anyway it WAS grown in a house FULL of dogs were talking about 4-5, so hair will be everywhere. I just can't tell if its mold or not.

I see the occasional pet hair, but other than that see nothing of any distress.. and as for pet hairs, hell in the old days we would scrape our aluminum bowl shavings and there would be dog hair in it (inevitably) and we would smoke that when we were out of grass.. I only wish I were just kind of joking..

Those look just fine and dandy on my little monitor, but it IS a tiny monitor and I have bad eyes.. what I see looks great..

It looks fine but it is kinda hard to tell with pics that zoomed in. Theres basically two kinds of mold you have to worry about with marijuana, powdery mildew and botrytits (bud rot). If there was any powdery mildew you could probably see traces of it on whatever little sugar leaves there might be attached to the bud. If there was botrytis you would see chunks of the bud that look kind of decayed, brownish grey and crumbly to the touch..especially on the inside when you break it open. They both give off kind of a tangy musty/rotten smell.

I see mold....

Pet hairs dont web.... Some molds do..

They do look more like mold hyphae than pet hair.
could be wrong though the pics aren't great for identifying it.
On the bright side there doesn't seem to be a lot of it..
Aside from the structure difference, the pet hair would probably be colors other then just white, these seem to be all white.

Also if it is pet hair you should be able to easily grab it with the tweezers and pull it off in long strands, mold would not do this.
Hair you will see with the naked eye. You wont see these fillaments (Hyphae) with the naked eye as filaments, but only when they build up and create a "fuzz" or spot of some sort.

Well Im glad I check my buds from other people before I smoke them but I already smoked this bud quite a few times now.

If it is mold if I get sick or die at least I know why.

The hair seems to be different colors but at the same time his dogs are the type that have long hair very furry and shed like crazy so I'd expect tons and most if not all his dogs are white too.

I guess I'm taking a risk? I'm thinking of leaving the bud out for a week or two and see if the mold developes (If it even is mold)

I haven't been able to find a lot if any of those web type hairs and sometimes it just lookss like a bunch of hairs bunched together cause I see a few with the naked eye and able to pull them out and when I do sometimes the buds break off with the hairs being pulled off

Most of those are trichomes.....Not all trichomes have bulbs or glands on the end of them. Some are very spiky. I see some of what looks like possible webbing from mold, but most of it looks like glandless trichs to me.

Its not wet its dried up to a crisp not sure how you can even tell if its wet or not but damn you got good eyes or a keen sense of wet weed lol

but nah they are dry to touch twigs snap absolutely not a single wet spot on the buds they dried in 3 days he said and was in a jar for 1 week with 3 hour jar open a day
