Last week i planted around 30 seeds , without germinating or anything.About 5 days later i went to see if they came up and the seeds were laying on top of the dirt, cracked open.....and also, i had 5 small plants that has been up about 3 days,..i went to check on them, something had picked the tops off all ofem lol..think maybe birds.........and also..just wanted to share something thats helps keep the deer away...take a couple eggs,glass of milk, and some vinegar, pour around ur patch...it works great..peace out
