Molex Holder

Hey all, been a while since my last thread, and this one will be short. Anyone have experience with the molex holder for the Cree Cxa25xx series? I can't find anything on how to mount the LED with it.. I am about to melt off this piece that's in the way of my mounting, but before I jump to rash decisions I figured I'd consult y'all. Am I supposed to be able to open it up and sandwich the LED? or does it go directly on top of it? This is a super simple piece, but alas it has stumped me .

Thanks man, theres a little tab that keeps it from being flush with the COB. I guess that's normal?
EDIT: "Fixed it" I just broke that little tab off.
