Hey guys, Just need a quick guide on how to turn a pump into a water aerator for a 55gal drum. I tried keywording it differently on the search engine...but getting results for HID lights is just disconcerting. Any little bit helps. I also mocked up something that was SUPPOSE to just shoot back into the res...however this bitch..is pretty friggin powerful. I tried putting a regulator on it too, and that didn't do smack. I guess the regulator doesn't speak the pumps language.

i'd buy a smaller pump (less gpm) and run tubing into a waterfall kinda like what you did with the pvc. you don't need much to provide a lot of DO.

how much gpm/gph is that thing? looks like something you'd drain a pool with.

i think mine is only 50 or 60 gph. tiny. the waterfall is all that matters.
