More free nutes and stuff for me...

Ahhh was like Christmas yesterday. I had been talking to a person at Humboldts Own headquarters about the whole Gravity situation, which by the way is resolved as we speak the product is in the EPA's hands getting new labeling approval so the full retail return should be soon, and I was able to be offered a sample package of some of their stuff they have coming out. I was asking about Crystal Burst at the time so he said he'd get some samples out. I was tahnkful and let him know. Well I got home and found a nice good sized 28 lbs package waiting for me. Packages always make me smile as they mean stuff. So I went in and decided why not take some pics of the expirence to share from getting the box to opening to unpacking. So I did and here's what i was blessed with to do some trial runs with...

I am a very happy camper who has already been impressed with the products I have tried from them but even more pleased with being given a great package to test run..

Dayum, you got hooked up. How'd you manage that ? lol I've been using GH and am on my last run with em, not sure what I wanna use next. Thinking House and Garden but idk, what have you used in the past?

Yeah they blessed me pretty good. It kinda just happened as I was seeing the Gravity issue coming up and even my usual supply line for it was drying up and prices on ebay just went crazy like quadrupled for what was left. I had been looking at other flower hardener options and saw the Humboldt line up at a local hydro shop and hadnt seen it so was reading up about it also. The shop didnt have much on it as they just started carrying it and the guys there are more into the home brew then the grow stuff soo I googled it a bit along with some info on gravity and ended up just contacting the maker on both items. We had some back and forth emails and calls and I got the update on Gravity status and told him great because its a must have for me since I started using it . I told him my usual nutes are the Fox Farm line up with couple additions like Advance nutes Bud Candy and then the gravity. I was telling him I liked snow storm and purple maxx also after getting to sample them and started buying but I couldnt find any samples of the Crystal burst to try it out to see if I was gonna like it or of their new nutes to think about maybe switching. I mention I had just got a free sample package of Canna Aqua nutes to give a run and report on so he kinda just said he had samples he could send out if I wanted to do a comparitive run and let them know what I thought. I couldn't say no lol. So I have a full set of Canna Aqua nutes and then this set of Humboldts line to pit against my usual Fox Farm line up. I have decided to use my usual personal strain and do a 5 plant aero tub grow-off. Will be 5 plants all clones from same mom using same water base then the 3 line up . I will use 3 25 gallon aero tubs with 5 sites in each under 400 watt lights same room just different nutes and see who reigns supreme. I will use all the additives I have with the base nute mixes and probably do a document journel for reference on it. I have tried Dutch master in the past and it was ok. I tried Advance nutrients and wasnt impressed for the cost no real gain other then I did like a few additives. I run Fox Farm trios faithfully always came back to it with best results and easiest use at fair prices. I have done bio bizz line up no good, I have done the General Hydroponics line up of the Floral line and not to mcuh good there.Then i have run guanos and casing mixes which work well but take alot of attention to perfect the right blends and maintain. Should be fun to do the run off of these 3 and see how it goes. Just gotta make some room lol.
