Mother in veg growing white hairs like its in flower?!?!

Well I already have 1 grow under my belt. I took some clones from that first grow and created a few mother plants.
I have the following mothers in my veg room at 18/6:
(All Nirvana seeds)
1 Hindu Kush
3 Hazes
2 White Widows

I also have a flower room right next to this room with 25 clones flowering, split by a handmade plywood door. No light penetrates between the 2 rooms.

I went to check on the mothers this morning and the hindu kush and the white widows have white hairs growing out of them like they are in flower but they arn't! Now I know I am kinda a noob at growing mothers so my question is, is this normal?
The mothers are about 10-13 weeks old.

not normal to my knowledge. Are you positive of the strains. Im not too familiar with autoflowering plants but thats almost what it sounds like you have. The strains you named aren't autoflowering plants though so I dont know man.

Might just be preflowers.

I figured that wasn't normal, and they don't autoflower. I grew from seed last time but never had them in veg for 10+ weeks. Im not sure exactly what preflowers look like, but these white hairs are as large as ones on my plants in the flower room.

preflowers are like singular white hairs at the nodes i believe. I have never noticed them myself but thats what i think they are.

i dont get this how have you guys never seen preflowers, ive never not seen them. i usually see them before i switch the lighting. if you want just keeo veggin her.

Preflowers show up when the plants mature, they look just like real flowers. But they fall off when you keep vegging.
