Mother Plants: How Do You Like Them?

Hi

recently purchased seeds and looking to make them into mother plants. i grow using a coco/auto-pot system and it is my first time with seeds
.

a friend who is heavily into his grows
told me to use bat guano and just feed them on water but this is the same man who grows everything organically and is very critical of the "next generations" techniques and feeds


was just wandering what everyones favourite way of storing/feeding mother plants was and what has the best results especially for a coco/auto pot system?

dont use the seedling as mother. cut a few clones off each seedling when they are big enough, once they have rooted flower the mothers, pull up the males and the corresponding clones. once all the plants have been sexed finish flowering the seed plants or kill off either way, veg the clones and before turning take more clones. keep one clone of each variety/plant as a mother and flower the rest
