im planning on keeping a mother under cfls. i have 8 100w equivalent 6500k cfls. is eight enough to keep a mother under? also what spectrum cfls should i use? the 6500ks? i was also thinking of purchasing a 2ft t5 fixture to keep mother under. would the t5 be better then the cfls? also how many bulbs should my t5 hold to keep a mother ? 2 or 4? and once again what spectrum of light is best for mothers ? thanks in advance.

usually more light the better, but I like to slow the growth of my mother so I usually use around 35-40 fc

a 2 bulb t5 will be fine and a 4 bulb will be better, you will get more dense growth, personally i like my mothers to be a little bit stretchy, but thats just me, i find it easier to clone when they have a little bit of distance between the nodes
