Mothers/Cloning Question

Whats good ya'll? I have a basic question that I can't seem to find an answer to. I had 8 super sour diesel mothers growing under 1000 watts for about 8 wks. They've grown nicely and are roughly 4-5ft tall. I wanted to flower 6 of them while keeping 2 of them as mothers so I can keep the strain and pluck clones off of them. It didn't look like I had any place to put the clone box or the 2 mothers so I decided to simply start flowering all of them. Whouldn't you know it, as soon as I started to do that a place opened up for me. My question now is, is it too late to grab the 2 plants out of the batch and clip from them?? They've been on a 12/12 schedule for 3 days now. I knew I was going to get fucked this way. Any help would be appreciative as I would really like to keep this strain alive.

as per my understanding, just put them back into 18h now, they do it with plants after 2 weeks in 12h for sexing, so no reason it won't work for you after 3 days!

yes you can put them back in the vegging state. all you have to do is increase the light cycle again.

Great. I'm going to doit right now. Was just worried the sexes would get fucked up from the light variation.

nope, unless you need to sex them change them back for sure
