mothers showing hairs on 18/6

2 mother plants i pulled clones off last week(white widow x bigbud and a bubblegummer)are showing hairs on 18/6.I moved them out of a room into a fan cooled cabinet with 1 T5.they were under a 150 sodium and 2 T5,s in veg.could switching them to less powerfull light have caused this.The mothers are also clones i have taken off the original seed started plants months ago.I added another T5 tonite in hopes of reversing this.

full hairs or just preflowers? its normal for a mature plant to show preflowers even while in veg

preflowers i think(very small white hairs).I value these mothers at the moment as the there mothers that will be harvested in a week are whoppers.This is my 1st experiance growing weed so not completly up to speed.I have a total of 34 plants now in 4 rooms so i have my hands a little full rite now.I was dumb and started with 6 strains that drove me bonkers with varied grow rates.I would like to pull a couple more grows off these mothers before i decide to flower them and replace them.I am hoping what i am seeing is a preflower as you call it and normal.I have been extreemly lucky with my 1st grow so far and hope it keeps up.I did not jump on the hydro bandwagon yet and went with happyfrog and ph perfect products to save my ass.I would have failed with hydro i think.

First my Blueberry mother started showing pre-flowers and now my OG momma is showing them too. I have cloned them since and not had any problems so far. They tend to grow a little faster after pre-flowering. I usually take the strongest clone out of every 3rd or 4th batch and turn her into the new mother and give the old mom to a friend who plants them outside.

You can tell a plant is sexually mature when you see preflowers and alternating fan leaves... it's normal to see this before inducing flower.

Pre flowers just determine sex buddy just keep them under 18/6 and you'll be fine I have my mother under a 400w hps and a 100w mh and I got pre flowers out the ass lol but I'm just cloning away, until I'm ready to flip that's how she will stay. She's been this way since july.
