Mould or just salt/mineral deposit?

Photos from digital microscope - for naked eye looks just like white dots size of sand grain.

It's exclay (LECA) from the bottom of airpot (there is soil on top of it - I can see the exclay by picking the airpot up and viewing it from the bottom).
I use tap water - which is highly mineralized - around 420ppm - I let it breathe 24-36h before use.

I saw simillar questions online - and ppl saying it's just salt, but it looks very sus to me. Although I should not have mould - there is strong extractor and fan operating 24h/day in the growbox - I don't understand how I could get mould in 2 weeks in fresh soil (BioBizz) with well ventilated growbox and airpots... This is madness... If this is mould I do not know how one would not have mould every time...

And if it is mould - what should I do? It's bottom layer, under the soil - I can not get to it without transplanting the plant - but this is auto and should not be transplanted. I got one small pellet through holes on the bottom of airpot to look under microscope.

As a hobbyist mushroom grower….. you gotta have quite humid conditions to be growing mycelium or mold. Keep an eye out. Make sure you have a fan on your canopy.

Also I don’t see how anyone can say or think trichoderma is a good thing to have in any grow medium.

because of the symbiosis with the plant that will extent its ability to have access to water and certain minerals. though that's certainly not essential to have, see hydro

are trichoderma and mycelium the same thing lol? i didnt think so but i dont know much
No. Mycelium think of “mushroom roots”

Mycelium is pictured in the OP, second post down is what mushroom growers call the “mean green” aka trichoderma aka a mycelium KILLER. you do not get many, if any, mushroom fruits if your spawn shows trichoderma before a solid flush. It’s a mushroom growers WORST nightmare. It ruins the grow.

Maybe trichoderma is OK for plants, but I just honestly doubt it because how bad it affects a mushroom grow. It’s not good for mushrooms, not good for human health…. And I have a hard time buying that the trich is good for cannabis.

Mycelium is mushroom fungi growth before spawn.

trich as shown in second pic is straight fucking mold.

hmm. interesting. thanks for the knowledge. Ive had the white mycelium as well as green growth on my top layer but it was more of a mossy green, specifically visible on the perlite in my soil. not sure what it was but i covered it up with more dirt and kept on trucking lol.

That's probably mold. I was just in a thread last week where I was guessing mold and it turned out to be calcium or something from a top dressing. But with green it's almost definitely mold. Was your medium too moist? Did it kind of look like perlite?

The green on the perlite sounds kinda like algae to me.

What kind of mushrooms do you grow? And have you ever watch 'Know Your Mushroom?' I grew shrooms back in the day, but I'm a fungi lover in general. I forage for morels every spring and take tons of pictures of different types of mushrooms while I'm on hikes.

The algae usually forms before the mold. Both are typically caused by overwatering and/or root issues. In that other thread I almost said I'm glad I weighed in even though I was wrong, because it might benefit someone down the road.
yeah overwatered clones. The soil i added on top was pretty dry, they were eventually transplanted as well.

Well they put it in about 6 products I can think of off hand. Most popular being recharge and great white. So must have some benefit. Mainly from what I understand acts as a biofungicide by outperforming more pathogenic disease causing fungi/molds.
