Move to Natural Sunlight

Hi- I am a total newbie and have been reading several hrs. per day to suck up as much knowledge as possible from this great forum. After many searches, I can't find an answer to this question.
I am attempting to grow 2 plants. They are about 2" tall now in cups. I am using CFL's on 18/6. Would it be advantageous to move these plants into natural sunlight, like on a window sill or outside for 6-8 hours each day?

Thanx

Definitely..

If you can grow your plants outside instead of under bulbs, it will benefit them way too much lol.

Thanx for the fast replies. They are already sunbathing as I type. My wife said to do it but since I have never grown any plants before, I was not sure. I will leave them in the sun until late afternoon and then put them back under the CFL's. I get good sun in several windows from 9AM to 4PM.
