I have 4 h skunks that im moving outside, the current lights r on 12/12 from 12am to 12pm, i vegged them for 5 weeks indoor on 18/6. They have been flowering under the 12/12 for 6 days, would it be better to take them out tonight before the indoor kicks on or take them out before the lights go out?? Im thinking more dark is better than more light, i would appriciate any experienced advice thanks

i was planning to do the same thing, but im afraid of rats , cats and racoons eating my babies, also if it rains too much or if it gets too cold,

what part of the country u live in? also i prefer the sun then some fake artificial cfl lights, real thc is made by the sun and its holy frequency rays

Good luck, it's usually a crap shoot or not whether they survive... from in to outdoors...outdoors to in never really had any issues

you will want to put them outside at 12am so they dont get prolonged light period and go into shock..... good timing on putting them outdoors tho, hope it doesnt get too cold where u live

EDIT: Think about it from the perspective of the plant: outdoors it is more likely that it will experience prolonged darkness because of rain, clouds, shadows, etc....thought very unlikely that it will receive prolonged light, which do you think the plant is better adapted to? (the prolonged darkness of course)

If the plants are in flower and have never been outside before you are going to have to harden them off before they receive a dose of sunlight all day. If you have no choice but to leave them outside fulltime then you need to ensure that they are in bright light but not the sun for a few days to let them adjust to the increased intensity of the sun. I veg indoors/outdoors everyday and have never had any type of issue with the plants.
You will be safiest also by sitting your plants out with sunrise on the first morning, keeping them in the dark until then. Prolonged darkness will be pretty nonstressful on the plant so don't worry about that, you are going to have a light problem though, maybe. Do you plan on shutting the girls up each night in a light proof room? If your girls have not been outside and adjusted to the light levels at night you could easily have a hermie issue because of this. Your veg room is probably totally dark at lights out, but in nature there is alot of light and could cause the problem since your plant hasn't been exposed to a "light" dark cycle. If you can enclose them you will be fine.
Good Luck
