Moving plants from one light to another.

I've looked for a thread about this but couldn't find one, if someone has a link that would be great.

So my plan for my grow room is to have a purpetial grow inside my flowering room. I'm hoping to do 16 plants under a 1000 watt in a 4*4ish area. At week 5 (1/2 way) they would get moved to the other side of the flower room where they would go under 2 600 watt in a 4*8ish area. Will that cause a problem? I just figured they would like to be able to take up a bit more area if allowed to

Height is a really problem in this room if that matters. I plan to take clones let them root/veg for 14 days and than move them into the flower room.

First grow so if you have any advice I would love to hear it.

I move plants from room to room, varying light sources, not an issue.

I move my plants between lights as needed, no issues.

will changing there square footage from 1'^2 to 2'^2 at week 5 of flower actually do anything for them?
