Moving plants from Sunlight to LED light every day, problems?

So in order for plants to profit from direct sunlight as well as to save on energy I could try using my south facing bay windows which give about 5 hours of intense direct sunlight and then transfer them to a tent with LED lights for 12 hours or so.

Is this bad/stressful for the plant?

Suggestions?

Should be fine. I run mine under HPS until the weather breaks and then introduce them to a couple hours of sunlight each day for about a week before putting them outside for good.

Never had an issue.
