Moving them outside?

Hey first timer here about to move some babies that have been vegging for about 3-4weeks to the beautiful outdoors... here is the link to my journal... i live in the appellation region of va and am wondering about good mediums for high clay content soil and any other advise... no ferts have been used.. thanks guys

I had a plant 3-4 weeks old that was veg under fluorescents that i brought outside and it instantly started to wilt away, I brought it back inside and it was fine. what could be the problem?maybe the sun was too bright. it was about 85 degrees outside
