It's tough to get a landlord to agree. Just about anyone who owns a house will say absolutely no marijuana growing while others will be willing to turn a blind eye and pretend they didn't know if ever questioned.

I think the way to approach it is to say you have a med card and want to grow a few plants in a tent, explain that you will control the odor and will follow the state laws.

Most people just want the rent on time and won't bother you, especially if you get in the habit of paying early. But most will officially say no growing.. I mean shit if you grow your own that's more money to pay your rent with. But the official risk of losing a house for "knowingly allowing a grow" will definitely get an answer of "no growing" while some will then not give a shit if you do, but publicly they have to say no.

I've been a landlord for 9 years. I've found plenty of grow ops and honestly those were the people who were always early on the rent so everyone was happy. Just look for a chill landlord, not some uptight religious nut.
