moving to Maui, can I get the 411?

Very soon my dog and I will be moving to Maui and as a Cali MMJ patient, I plan to get a Blue Card. As I understand it, it is not legal to buy or sell, but I will be able to consume legally, but only if it magically appears in my bong somehow. I plan to grow, but I have never done this before. Can you all shout out some great advice? Also, what is to stop a bunch of us with cards to get together secretly and lease commercial warehouse space, and share costs? Just an idea.

A few other questions:

Should I order a buttload of seeds here in Cali and bring with me?

What strains grow best? I'm mostly a sativa guy, and I love to eat my smoke, so I need maximum results.

Any grow advice is greatly appreciated. I also want to grow tomatoes, other herbs, etc.

I've even considered keeping my PO box in Cali and keeping my MMJ card renewed and making trips back and forth. I went to Maui in Feb with about 40 rolled joints in my carry-on and not even a sideways glance. Seems like a lame (and ultimately very expensive) solution though.

I'd love to make a few good friends to grow/cook/partake with as well.

No dispensaries here in the islands so you will have to grow your own... as far as seeds go you could bring some with you or buy some online. I have never had any problems doing so. Depending on where u live on maui growing outdoors could be a problem. Lots a thieves... but if u in the country you will be fine. I find indoor growing to be best. Only draw back is high cost of electric. Strain Selection is totally up to u. Jus get what you like.

As far as doctors go im not familiar with any on maui but dr. Berg on the big island and dr. Burton on oahu come highly recomended. Dnt know if they make trips to maui but you can call to find out.

Maui has some docs that come over couple times a month also there are a couple docs on island just gotta ask around, look on the back page of maui time

There used to be a Great club in Paia but Brian and the Boys got popped because the Hawaii med law doesn't have a clause for dispensaries.
Just get yourself some bomb genetics and have at it.
Word to the wise, though, Maui is deadly expensive. Hope you have a good plan and plenty of scratch if you plan on doing more than scraping by.
It's Paradise incarnate, but that doesn't come cheap.

Da dispensary upcountry Maui shut down? I nevah have one card, but I knew people on Maui who had one an they got there's from a dispensary upcountry Pa'ia. I moved couple years ago, so maybe no more now? Aue!

Yea got shut down cuz it wasnt a legit dispensary. Despensaries arent legal in hawaii just yet.
