Having lived in the midwest for all my life, I am needing a change. I am moving out there with a good friend of mine who knows the area well and already has a good network of people. In my area, there are almost no good outdoor growing spots. Having spent hours on google earth, the best option here is to sneak through farmers fields or take my chances on county parks In a nutshell, where I'm at now, my growing options are pretty slim.
So here's the plan, in a few months my buddy and I are gonna pack up and move out there. We both love the outdoors for a lot of other reasons as well. I like to kayak, hike, mountain bike, and have always wanted to learn to sail. I'm also looking to get a motorcycle to explore the beautiful mountain roads From what I can gather, this is a perfect area to do all that. Also, washington is a stone's throw away from the pot capital of north america, British Columbia.
To everyone from this area, give me the quick rundown on the whole scene out there. How are the growing conditions, locations, prevailing attitudes on the subject in general? It seems like the people there, for the most part, are pretty earthy type people. Any suggestions or advice on choosing genetics or anything else would be greatly appreciated!
