Moxie - Viper City OG 13 w/Heavy 16

A few months ago a ran this strains and absolutely loved it. So this time I'm going to do some upgrades and see if I can yield more.


Light- Galaxy Hydro 300w @6-7" from tops

Seeds- Feminized Moxie Viper City OG 13

Soil- Recipe 420

Nutes- Heavy 16 A&B Flowering, Rhizo Blast, Big Bud & Bud Builder 1000

Pot Size: 3 Gallons, currently 30" tall

Started Flowering: 08/21, currently starting week #3

So on this grow I changed a few things: changed my soil from Miracle Grow Seedling to Recipe 420. Then I changed my base nutes from Advanced Nutrients to Heavy 16 Bud A&B. Lastly I am now using spring water, on the last run I used tap which around my area is filled with chemicals.

The change in soil, base nutes and spring water will help me achieve a better flavor to an already amazing smoke. Stay tuned!!

How are Moxies seeds. Been thinking of trying their OGs and Hybrids

good stuff so far. What was your last yield ?

Honestly I love their stuff! I'm going to run this Viper City OG 13 in my perpetual grow its that good! I smoke about 2 grams a day normally, but when I smoke this I'm under .75 grams it's that strong.

I got 74 grams dried last time off a 3 foot plant, grow in soil in a 3 gallon pot. It was under the same Galaxy Hydro light. Here's the link to that grow journal https://www.rollitup.org/t/viper-city-og-under-300-watt-led.909760/

I'm using their "Heavy Feed" Schedule and have been having no problems. A bit of clawing so I removed the Rhizo Blast and now it seems to be fine. Here's a little snap shot of the feed schedule the Hydro Store gave me

For the AN "Big Bud" I'm just following the label, 2ml per gallon weeks 2-4
 
Watered them yesterday so here's a quick close up on the nugs, the pistals have already began to turn brown. And a light hint of jasmine and og Kush is filling the grow room.

I'm very happy with the heavy 16 so far, visual difference is noticeable so I definitely will go with it again on the next run. The one negative I've seen so far is the smell. With AN the smell was definitely a lot more pronounced. But it could also just be a pheno variation.

I also changed my feeding as I have about 2 weeks left:

Heavy A - 8ml
Heavy B - 8ml
Finish - 8ml
MOAB - 1/16th of a teaspoon
