Multiple problems?

Ok guys, first time grower and I'm 3 weeks into veg from seed. Everything started good and quickly started to turn to shit!

I'm using MG soil and advanced LED 300watt full spectrum. Running 18/4 with just veg light running.
#3 (worst one) I think got a little to dry and was to close to the light? #2 did have a problem with drainage and has made a comeback IMO? The last one just has a few spots on the leaves but new growth is still good???

#3 will recover in now time. When you water the plants with fertilizer, if you spill the water on the leaves they will turn colors. It also looks like #3 was too close to the lights like you said. Do your pots have holes in the bottom. I think they need water with 1/3 dose of Flower nutes. Water the pots until water drains out the bottom into a plate or pan.

I'm not fertilizing yet just H20. I chose not to water her for an extra day or two because my other plant wasn't draining right. She went from beautiful to wilted in 1 day and as soon as I gave her water, the new growth started looking good. I've got my light raised about 14-16" where it was about 10". And yes my pots have holes in the bottom but I think I originally packed my soil when I planted the germs and I might have screwed it up. When my first plant started to droop, I stuck a paper clip up from the bottom and water started pouring out.

Fck the mg shit off every grow I've seen in mg is shit
Replant in normal potting mix with a 50/50 perlite soil mix and u will have no drainage probs
Buy some decent chem based nuts I use Dutch masters gold range and I don't measure ph or ppm I just follow the directions on back never had burn never had probs grown auto and pheno this wat no probs just feed every few days

How can it be to close that not light burn top leaves r fine it's that mg soil crap
It's def nut burn from to hot a soil mix feed the plants wtf with flower nuts omg there dark enough what tells u to feed em
Them plants r not hungry

That top pic with all the brown leaf tips and spots look like calcium mag deffencency I just had on my plants. Solved by giving Cali magi nutes.

cal mag starts on the veins of the leaf not the tips they go pale thats nut burn 100%
But if u burn u can also lock out other nuts those plants r very dark green like to much nitrogen

Thanks for the info guys. Honestly I didn't even think about the MG because I havnt had a problem up until this point.

Next question, I went and got some top soil and perlite to make a new potting mix. Should I just do a 50/50 mixture or will it hurt to mix in 10-20% of the MG to help lighten the topsoil and add a little bit of nutes?

MG is no good for growing dope, its too hot and too salty. Consider using hydro nutes even in soil to feed.
