OK, so basically I had two syringes of good quality mushroom spores. I was a new grower, did'nt take care of the first grow and long story short...a mouse (yea...a mouse) ended up dying in my water reservoir which ended up contaminating my whole crop. Ok so a couple month went by and I decided to try again and do it right.
So, I now have one jar that's 99% colonized with no contamination...However now I only have one jar and no more spores. I know that you can use "live tissue" to colonize new jars but I don't know if it's the white mycelium that you just put into the new jars or actual fresh syringes that you can break a piece containing spores off of and put it???? can anyone enlighten me on how it's done? Thanks allot and sorry about the novel^, usually my q's are shorter.
