mushrooms in plants

Abstract

Hey, first time grower. My plants so far had two mushrooms pop up from the soil. I was wondering what this exactly means, does have somethin to do with the air and humidity. I think this may be the reason the leaves on my plants are having health problems. Would organacide be good to get rid of the problem maybe?

sounds like you are right about the humidity. if mushrooms are growing and your leaves are suffering it probably is too high. get a cheap thermometer with a humidity gauge to test it. mushrooms like high humidity while mj doesnt seem to like anything past 65 or so cuz it cant perspire. as for getting rid of the mushrooms i dont know, but id fix the environment first to make sure it doesnt happen again.

looks like the fungus found your plant .. i think just two mushroom spores found their way to your soil .. pick em out if you want .. idk if it would do damage .. but your plants might not be in a great deal of sunlight ..

I had one plant out of 13 that kept getting "shrooms" every other day. i would pick it out, and they would come back. I realized that no air flow from a fan, along with too much humidity, and low light, kept these coming back. I ended up having to transplant and actually lost that plant. BUT it wasnt from the fungus, (damn rabbits). DRY THE SOIL OUT. This could be your problem.

I had the same problem with Sta-Green soil. Keep them plucked before they get too big and they will eventually will stop growing. Keeping the top layer of the soil dry will help alot too
