mushrooms

I am interested in producing some of shrooms.. I do not know alot about the production side of things.. just the ingestion side. A few quick questions - would a mushroom grow kit be the first step or are they not worth the money? Also, can I buy spores and have them shipped to my house LEGALLY? ( I do not live in Idaho, Cali, or the other illegal state) If I can order spores what strain would be recommended?

Where Can I find information on how to grow these? Like rollitup.org but for mushrooms?

Don't purchase a mushroom grow kit; its a waste of money and they send up red flags when you purchase them. Just simply go to one of your local Walmart's or anything with the mart in the title and purchase things, such as: Plastic totes, vermiculite, perlite, canning jars, pressure cooker or big pot for steam cleaning, a submersible water heater for an incubator if it gets real cold where your at, hydrometer etc. It's just like a shopping list, check them off while you go

There difficult to get if you live in a state where spores are illegal. Although about 98% of United States spores are legal... you just need to find a reliable source for them. From the top of my head... I know (4) legitimate places that serve up good spore syringes and mycelium material.

Just go search for them in the wild. Look under cow patties.

Not everyone is located near a dung patty

Searching in the wild especially in some known locations can get you into some big trouble.

I'll keep that in mind. I thought the spores were illegal. Mushrooms are illegal but the spores aren't?

That's a pretty dangerous idea. There are certain types of mushrooms that look similar to magic mushrooms that if you eat you'll slip into shock and never wake up from your coma again. Only experts should ever try something like that.

Forgot to mention that! Certain mushrooms can be deadly so don't go marching outside your front yard and start collected and thinking "hey I'm gonna trip tonight"... more like "why the fuck does my spleen feel like its going to burst!"

There you go.... mushrooms are illegal but spores are not as there intended for microscopic research

Mycelium contains small amounts of psilocybin so as soon as the spores germinate they are illegal. You don't need to get to the fruiting stage to break the law.
