Heard from someone awhile back that plants respond well to music. Especially the bassey music (Techno, DnB etc..)
Anyone have any ideas if its true?
That'd be crazy..

Scientific fact that plants DO respond to music but in testing several kinds of music, the plants responded best to rock and roll. The testing was actually done on a show called Myth Busters. None of the plants tested responded at all to Techno music even though it does have alot of heavy bass. Try playing a Classic Rock station to your ladies and see what they do for you and then let us know your findings. :joint:

Maybe some Hendrix and a little Lynyrd Skynyrd?

Personally I don't think it does much if anything. It is a plant, it does not have the genetic predisposition to decipher multiple sound frequencies or the intelligence to prefer a specific type of audio that it cannot even hear.

Feel free to do it though, if you think it will work.

I can attest to the fact that my normal house plants that sit on top of my speakers grow much better than the ones that hang from the ceiling or are on tables. I listen to classic rock all day and they do beautifully where they are. I can't remember what it is that makes them grow better but it was tested on that show and they did prove that there is some evidence that it does work although the evidence was not substantial. I don't know how pot plants will react but YLT is going to give us an update about it.
