Anyone seen buds go weird like this? The whole plant was odd from the get go.. strange serrations ect.. rest of the room is on point, this is just some weird pheno or something. Just thought I’d share.

Same as I’m feeding everything else.. they are all linked into the same drip irrigation system in a recirculating hydro set up.

Rest of the room is looking healthy.. it’s just that plant.. pretty sure it’s just a bit of a mutant.. it did come out of a “not fully tested” pack.. and did get some variety out of them, but that one in particular is just…ugly

Just looks like a bit of 'fox-tailing' to me, I wouldn't worry about it... if the other strains are not doing it... it's probably just those genetics/phenos, rather than an environmental issue.

I have had foxtailing before under strong lights.. this is my first time using a 1000w LED so I guess it could be a sensitive strain I suppose..
These buds have developed this way from the start however, it’s not just stuff shooting out of normal bud like foxtails usually do. But yeah.. could be some similar reaction to light poisoning or something I guess. Pretty curious as to what it’ll smoke like.

MAybe, 1000w LED is crazy strong.. whats that HPS equivelent to, about 1.5KW?

Honestly it’s probably a bit overkill.. I do run a hot room with co2 though.. I just wanted to see how far I could push everything.. I guess maybe that particular strain is not suited to such high parameters or is just a mutie.

Foxtails can be from light stress also .
