Two and one half years ago, my brown thumbs and I created a mutation in my garden worth exploring. I am all solar, had a cloudy spell long enough to cause light problems, and got early flowerers. I had two early flowered females well covered with flowers, and and then a third plant flowered. A feminized seed early flowered, fully male. (picture below) It was not a hermie--this boy had balls. as soon as the "boy" gave his pollen, I went to work. The "other" females then lived a long life, so all their seeds could mature.
The girls were a Colombian Gold landrace, and a Godfather OG. The girl turned boy was Ice Cream Cake, by Gelato. His pollen produces some desireable traits-consistent. But one of them is, he won't make any boys, and I am smoking his offspring into oblivian. The other trait is veg stage and flowering stage seem to be combined. As in ruderalis strain. In any light.
I've been growing and smoking them for nearly three years. I have three plants of them in flower now. My personal stash is never without either strain.
I've grown well over a hundred plants between the two strains. Every single seed sprouted. Every single plant was female. Every single plant was in flower by 5 weeks. With 18/6 timer controlled light schedule.
Must I smoke Colombian Mystique and Godfather Magic strains into oblivian?? I'm suggesting some kind of a shared/community grow to explore these strains. And I don't give a damn about money or fame! I'M HAVING FUN! And I want to save these traits.
Is anyone else out there in a legal state to do this?
