The strain that's closest is the Crooked Prairie, It's California big bud crossed with the Orange hair. I get the seeds from an old neighbor of mine from Humboldt county at a cost of 2 dollars each (deal) I know for a fact these are stable in genetics and yield (over 3 lbs) and are finished by end of Sept (closer to mid Sept) Never had a problem with mold or disease, their stalks are massive and sturdy. These have been grown in Northern California for the past 20 years, so there pretty much acclimated, any questions?

I was in sac yesterday and was feelin that heat..... :fire:

they said it's supposed to start cooling down today though and last for awhile. hopin it doesnt break 100+ anymore. bet those high temps makes your place pretty smelly tho :weed:

What kind of problems do you run into dealing with these temps? I've been thinking about doing some outdoor grows here where I live but the temps in the summer get pretty high and stay there. I know that when you grow indoors you run into problems when the temps get anywhere near these and co2 is needed to maintain the health of the plants at these temps?

well the only thing you really can do for your plants in those kind of temps is water water water and more water. when it's that hot, I water just about every day. the plants will drink it all. another thing a friend got me going on and that the plants really love is foliar feeds. not in the middle of the heat tho since the droplets act a tiny magnifying glasses and will fry your leaves to shit, but as the sun's going down or even after it's down and then the plants can absorb as it pleases. hope that helps :joint: :peace: :joint:

Hey B, I water almost everyday and only in the morning, more chance of mold if you water in the evening. When it comes to foliage feeding , I have done it but only early in the life of the plant, once their transplanted outside I stop the foliage feeding and feed the roots.:joint:

I encourage the song birds to live around the garden, they eat insects that can damage the plants. Here's some pics from my friends garden..looking good huh?:hump:

All the birds seem to do in my patch is shit on my girls. Though it hasn't happend for awhile. Just had another hatching of dragon flies. They seem to keep the pest population down over here.

I prefer the natural ways if I can get away with it, beneficial insects, birds and soforth. The first 2 pics are the white queen, that's me the fat old fart..lol :weed:
