What's up yall. After a lot of researching(still doing it) finally got off my ass and put together a small grow. As a newbie wanted to learn on one plant first. Going to do 1 dwc bucket in a 2.5'x2.5"x6'11" Goliath tent out in my detached garage. Hadnt heard of them until i was in a local shop. Same quality to me as a gorilla tent(go to touch one at another local shop). Went with the Goliath and most everything that the local store i chose to business with carried. Could have bought some stuff cheaper but I make a good enough living Ill pay a little more to support my local shops. 4" ac infinity fan to a 4x8 phat filter and i installed a 8" dustshroom for intake. Being this is my garage i didnt want light leakage from the built in vent as i have lights on possible in garage when the grow light is on. Live in the county with ton of bugs and spiders.
Kept it local again with the light. Was going to go with the viparspectra xs1500 but rolled the dice. Local shop is using Chinese sourced quantum boards with lm301bs(real as i can tell with my eyes) and meanwell drivers. I went with the 110w light. If it sucks ill buy anotherand my send it to a youtuber to test.
While Im waiting on my apera pc60 to get here ive set my hydrometer in the tent and just seeing that i get for temps and humidity with no fan and no light on.Rather know shits wacky not instead in the middle of a grow. So far not so bad. I already have plans to siphon some air off my window unit down to the dustshroom to force cool air of need. Right tent is back up to it and blows on the back of it.
1 last question. A couple big ports i wont be using. While they are double sinched im not happy. Anyone every take the hard foam insulation, cut it round and place in there to give a little better closure?
