Im starting my 2nd grow right now. I have a 3x3 closet space that I have fully lined with mylar. I have a 150 watt sunsystems HPS growlight that puts out 16,000 lumens. I have this over 3 plants of GDP. I also have a 125 watt blue spectrum CFL that puts out 12,000 lumens.
Since im growing with clones, and i dont have to be worried about the plants turning male, my plan is to have both lights on for vegging, and then to take off the blue spectrum CFL once i switch to flowering.
For vegging Im going to do 18/6. Im also growing with fox farms soil.
I also have a window to the outside from the room, that i put a 2 layered cover over to keep outside light from coming in but to help with ventilation. i also have a couple fans set up in the closet. does anybody have any feedback? hopefully specifically regarding my plans to have both the 150 watt HPS and the 125 watt blue spectrum CFL on for vegging, and then to switch solely to the 150 watt HPS. Also is this enough light for 3 plants? Also taking into account that its a 3x3 space fully lined with mylar..
