my 600w closet

flowering 9 plants, just going to jump into it. i got em in 6.50 in #1 nursery pots (might move to square pots next grow, they will use more of the space while allowing me to still get 12 pots under my light.) 600w cool tube with no active cooling, one pc fan blowing under my canopy and one box fan pointed towards the other side of my closet on high (i have an incline for the stairs, points the cooler air up and it circles keeping the room at less than 85 F most of the time(never seen it above 88F)) the plants shake, everything is happy. using supersoil from home depot with the GH maxi grow and bloom, added koolbloom powder for this flowering, im using it at 1/8th strength for the first few weeks, then i will bump it up in the 4th week or so i think. utilizing a 2 F X 3 F X 6+F area (WxLxH) im on day six of flowering ive got 4 strains, 5X Hells Angels OG (ive had this strain for a year and a half and this is the first time ive gotten to flower her.) 2X Blackberry Kush (bag seed from a few years ago, we loved it!) 1X Pineapple Crack 1X King Louie OG (SoCal strain in NorCal? all my friends love it!)

starting to see signs of bud growth already, it is kinda cool. will be interesting to see what i ge toff of a brand new bulb indoors for the first time. last season, except for seedlings and mothers, i was only growing outdoors so this indoor grow is my first in a few years. shouldnt be that hard.. bongsmilie prop 215 grow for the girlfriend and myself and thats about it. will be back with updates as the plants themselves go awesome shit!

the wal-mart had black hefty cups for my clones. im excited. cant you tell. yay.. lol i bought some seeds from a guy a few weeks ago and he gave me a cherry pie and a key lime pie and both made it through quarantine and being transplanted so maybe ill clone one off of each plant and see how they grow here in a few weeks. time to pot clones, but.. bong hits first! bongsmilie

47 clones potted.. cupped? what ever lol. new veg spot made in another closet with a 4 foot 2 bulbed t12 with i dunno what kinda lights in it.. kind of a hurry up and make this kind of deal. only lost 7 total from cutting through to this repot. not bad for being a honey user instead of a rooting powder/gel person.

i find myself not being able to sleep untill my light has gone out in the closet (3 am) its kinda weird, i slept without a problem while i was in veg and the doors were cracked so i had some good airflow.. i also cant wait for 3 pm to roll around, i get to see my babies for the first time every day at 3pm!! anyways, we are on day 8 of flower, it looks like every plant has started to bud up a little so ill get some pics up of them tonight. i grow in pots in 2 bins, each bin is 2 X 1.5 feet and gives me room for 6 pots in each even though i only have 4 in each with one off too the side, she didnt want to get tall like the rest of them, bitch lol. might move the four front plants to the back today and switch again in a week or 2.

didn't label one of my clones yesterday, thankfully ive had these strains for a year + (even if ive never flowered 2 of them!) and SHOULD be able to tell what she is once she starts growing out. (is the stem purple? yeah, but so are the other three strains, HA!) altho i suppose i could just count the other ones and see whats missing from my count.. we'll see, i like a mystery every once in awhile.

i think i want to get some CS and make seeds of my strains. i enjoy the cloning and stuff, but moving with them was a pain and since i know we are moving at least one more time in the next 8 months (and hopefully no more!) itll make things easier. plus i could try new things. anyways, if i dont get off here and go move the plants around y'all wont get pics. but first..... bong hits! bongsmilie

ps : to those reading this, im trying to remind myself of random thoughts that flutter through my head, so i know sometimes it is just a mess of words; just know, they all help me out some way!

Alright mate .....

I would live to have space to tinker about with breeding and stuff plus maybe co2 but limited space so, will make do .....

P.s that last bit confused me :???:

im not interested in co2 myself, yet. maybe if i ever make a sealed room type grow but that isnt in my plans for the next few years.

now that i am home i can go back to doing what i said, yay locking keys in the car!

ps : i dont know, i was sober and now that line makes no sense to me anymore.. :clap:

ps : i confuse myself alot , it is ok ;-)

so the 2 pics are of a hells angel og. they were in the back of the closet so other than a few looks and everything i havent touched them since i LSTed over a week ago. it was a nice bonding time lol.

watering every 2 days now. i may have let the plants get too big, but they have been in their pots for less than a month. might have to consider larger pots for next grow, or modifying these so that they are twice as tall. i have extras, i might just start working on that now. however i will not be transplanting unless it becomes ABSOLUTELY necessary, we dont need that kind of shock in flowering. seems to be about all for today, everything is looking happy, lots more pistils poking up and the smell is increasing alot. yum!

ps : i have not lost a single clone from transplant shock, out of 54 cut, 47 made it. i have one that looks like its unhappy, but somehow when i watered the clones in the tray it didnt get any. stupid rockwool not doing its job. or you know, stupid me for not making sure it was pushed all the way down.

my untrained, untopped, uncloned blackberry kush. just a month ago you were a tiny little root bound solo cup living sad, sad little plant. after the shock of her being cut in late march/early april and living in.. less than ideal conditions (on a boat) for 5 months and then 2 more months in a solo cup until i was able to get my light and get you what you needed.. thank you for staying small when i needed you too and thank you for not dying on me. and thank you for what you are giving me. *sniff sniff* and thanks for the kushy smelling room :)

should water but have to be up easrly for work tomorrow, so as soon as i get home from work, or the light turns on if my some weird chance i get off early, its feeding time! went through each plant and removed any of the LST ties that were tight or almost tight. ill support buds/branches as needed again in a few weeks. the stretch should be almost over as i am on day 11 of flower, but i dont know about that sativa-ish pineapple crack, i might get an extra week or so out of it. ill try and get some pics tomorrow, away from the HPS. thats about it, good night!

ps : got rid of 30 clones today, now i have the few i need for my friend and what i need for myself. i <3 being in a med state and craigslist sometimes, all these plants growing and im out of meds? wtf? lol 2 days my ad was up and i got 73.8 grams for 30 clones? (mostly GDP but a half O of some plat.GSC) thats a win in my book for both of us. then, on the way home, the dispensary called, my girlfriend won 5 free grams today. bongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmilie

Nice plants, any new pics?

Good call on not repotting after flowering began. Not only is it a shock but its also a time when the plants are very balanced/stable.

With that said, how top heavy do buds make the plant?

it depends, my stalks are not as strong as i would like so i am a little worried about bud size vs branch strength. but, the plants will tell me if something is wrong. :)

buds doubled overnight. ill take more pics, most likely tomorrow but we will see how i feel when i get home tonight :-P i also had to raise my light again, hope this stretch ends soon. day 13 now so it should. well, thats all for now, time to go make sure i dont have any dead leaves laying around.
