hello everyone this is my first led build. i have a question or two if the experts can help me out
1st here are my parts
led strips are these there 85watt 24v running them at 50watt, total of 12 stripps at 237.00
here is my driver 600watt max output 115.00

for the frame i use 1.5" wide 1/4" thick 3ft long aluminium flat bar. here is a link what they look like, but i bought them at my local machine shop. 70.00
i have everything wired up in parallel, im really pleased how bright this thing is, my question is do you think ill be fine running these at 50watts. and how is the best way to tell if there getting to hot? i let it run for about 5 min and the aluminium was still pretty cool to the touch. and any other advise is welcome. thanks

16x Samsung lm301h 4000k LEDs. The 2700k diodes are for flowering plants and the 6500k is for veg growth and 4000k is good for all around. Since these are full spectrum lights, you will get a great full spectrum setup that would be perfect for the entire growth cycle.

You are buying 1 piece of 1/4" X 1-1/2" 6061 T6511 Aluminum Extruded flat bar 36" long +.07"/-0. This is extruded bar not sanded or polished and may have scratches from handling.
