My Babies are Dieing

Hey guys I'm flipping out! Yesterday I woke up and my 6" plants are withering away! This is my first grow and don't know what to do. I am growing them in a rockwool cube right now under a single t5 bulb on 18/6 light cycle. The rockwool was soaked in water and cloned seedling solution and ph balanced. They are in the 3rd week and are dieing! Please someone anyone help me with solutions

lower the light to just above them not to low to burn them

To start with you can throw the first one in the bin its dead as shit and the second one is right up its ass going the same way.
What is "cloned seedling solution " ? More info needed bro.

yes get the one in solo cup ,if using clonetek our something like that it should only be 1 ml per gallon

terry and old shl4evr: So I should bury the rockwool in to a solocup with coco (thats what Im using). Sould I leave it alone or water it? and Im going to leave it under the T5?

Absolutely no need for magic potions mate, did you adjust ph of the rockwool before planting the seeds. I let mine sit in water with a ph of 5 overnight, this adjusts the ph of the medium to approx 5.5. I then use a salad spinner to get all the water out and then soak them in a solution of water and hydrogen peroxide (ph 5.5) before dropping the seeds in, this solution is all that's used until they're transplanted to the 4" cube.

Use a syringe to flush them with ph adjusted water and some peroxide if you got it. We're using shitty 11% stuff at the minute (thanks terrorists). I use 35ml per 10L of tap water

i already put the one plant into coco. the rockwool is still in it but i moved into coco. should i be watering the coco?

Whenever I transplant I like having my seed cube dry and my new cube soaked to encourage the roots to venture into the new medium

You could save the other one that only has one cotyledon leaf left. I'm sure she'll grow slow, but she can be saved. Bury up to the leaves w/o the leaves touching your soil. I would get some perlite in that coco, for proper drainage. Keep them moist and warm. Enjoy.

thanks warble! I put them in a 2oz solo cup with coc. I took it out of the rockwool. how should i be watering it now that it is just coco.

i use promix/ffof 50-50 and add more perlite,when i had mine in solo cup i had it in happy frog they loved it ,when roots came out the bottom of the cup i planted in 3 gallon pot with the promix and fox farm ocean forest ,put a little root magic in the hole placed plant in and watered in ,been using blue planet nutrients and having a hell of a time with them .i think i got it right now-using 1/4 strength nutes -1 ml silica -2 ml cal mag -1 tsp black strap mollasses and only feeding once a week ,the are happy happy happy .i don't really care for the coco there is no vitamins nutreients are nothing in it and you will have to feed every other watering ,but anyway once the root comes out bottom of cup step up to what ever pots your gonna use ,just remember less is best with your nutrient and N P K is important ,don't stress the small stuff dude those plant will talk to you when they are angry ,you can hang man, good luck

I usually put them in 16oz party cups and leave them in the rockwool. I try not to disturb the roots after germination. You might want to throw some perlite in there too. When they are that small, I usually ph some water and super thrive, and spray them. I don't water the soil unless it looks like they are drooping. It encourages root development. Did you bury them up to the leaves?

I have one seed of fifteen seeds that has sprouted into a plant. The plant is shown in the photo above with a few leaves, yet no roots are protruding from the bottom of the rockwool cube for this plant. I was hoping that this plant would have formed a root system protruding from the rockwool cube by now, but I have no such luck. Any advice would on what I should do next would be greatly appreciated.

How long have they been in the starter cubes? We're they put in the cubes straight out the pack? Or did you use some other method of part terming them first? Did you ph balance the rockwool? Did you pre soak? If so what with? Details details details, tell me exactly what you did.
