My Buddy got caught

So as i read through this site i see people alayse saying not to tell any one, or the feds will get you.

My buddy got caught recently ( we live out in cali) and hes not a big time grower, he maybe had 3-4 plants. And he grew in his back yard and his neighbors got upset yada yada yada... eventually it ended up with a couple police men making thier way to his house.

All in all they basically just took his plants and hacked em down. He was pretty bumed, but i see it as he got off easy. Any way i was wondering if any one else had any stories of "friends" who got caught.

Let's see. Jail time, lawyer fees, family embarrassed(maybe) or..... chopping the trees down.

Yeah he should be exstatic right now. Sucks though.

If you grow outside:

Neighbors see your crop, are jealous assholes, report you, you lose.
Neighbors see your crop, are greedy assholes, and steal em, you lose.
Neighbors see your crop, are religious zealots, report you, you lose.

The rule of thumb here- DON'T LET ANYONE SEE YOUR CROP!

So he is a non medical grower and they cut em down and did nothing further?

He should buy a lotto ticket if so, cause its his lucky day!
