my buds smell like plants still

its my first hydro grow i over fertilized some is that why my buds have crystals on it but doesnt smell good or did i pick them premature but its been 8 weeks ill get pics

well yes once they dry out thats when the stink can come if bud is moist it locks in the sent

you just need to cure it in jars for a while after about aweek it will start tosmell and then after a month it will really smell for the first week open the jars a couple times a day for an hour or so then the next week do it like every couple days for an hour or so then open it like once a week for an hour untl its the moisture you like and then just leave em jared and the smell will come

Its funny how people are so concerned with smell, like good bud always smells strong. I've had some bomb bud with only a mild smell.

eh, same goes for cheese.

I grew some plants in my first grow known for their smell....Ice & COB. They had little to no smell unless you put your face in the buds. After 5 days of hang drying they had like 0 smell. I was stressed, too, but after a solid 20 day cure they fucking reek. The Ice smells up the whole room if I take one bud out. So, fret not....it will return. Curing in glass jars is the key.
And to add, I cracked a jar of Ice buds from the same plant last night after a 6 week cure and they are stronger and stinkier than the buds from the same plant that cured for 3 weeks. So...once again, I swear by curing.

dont judge da weed by da smell to many pple do that roun my way. Usually dey right when it comes to basic lob but exotics like u are proly growin a good cure will help dat. A month will make them smell so good bra.

cool i like those responses becauses i was kinda stressin about it i like my weed to smell and taste good.
