alrighty, I have 3 qrazy train females, and Im using a 400w HPS, and 8 40-42w CFL's for supplemental lighting (in the picture there is only 4, but I put another 4 yesterday), 3 gallon black pots with roots organic soil and clay balls at the bottom for drainage, and I'm using Pureblend pro flowering, CaMg+, and brer rabbit molasses, I feed them every friday, last week I flushed the soil, because I don't want excessive nutrient salt buildup in the soil. Its day 24 of flowering when I took the pictures, the buds look kinda small compared to thatguy's qrazy train buds when he was at day 25. also the dead plant is a male, It's the only plant I would say I successfully mainlined, sadly, but I learned from my mistakes, and so I now know how to train qrazy train.

Very nice super cropping.
I'm always scared to fim/top my plants a lot cause the light never gets through that far and the leafs at the bottom die off :/

Any suggestions?

Nice trees man, looks really dank already.

i never super cropped these guys, i super cropped once and didnt like the results. i fim/top to get light to the lower growth, and then spread the heads apart to get light in there, and anything that doesnt get direct light on it, i trim when i flip em to flowering.

From what I've researched, supercropping is modifying the plant in order to harvest a larger yield. You may have other reasons to top/fim your plants, but it is a technique used to supercrop, that's why I asked.

Just sharing what I was taught, you may have a different opinion on whether it's considered supercropping.

Thanks for answering my question though, I've got one with two tops right now and has been in flowering for 2 weeks, just got done trimming it up a couple days ago.

ps, I hope I didn't sound like an asshole

nah you didnt. I learned that super cropping was the crushing of the inside of the stem, to make it become a "knuckle" that nutrients travel faster and more efficiently, heres an example of a super cropped knuckle:0.jpg not my cupa tea

Ohhh, I understand why you don't like super cropping, lmao. I was never a big fan of that technique.

Anyway, you're doing a great job, keep it up.

no the dead plant was a male so I had to kill it, I was stupidly under the impression it was a female because of mis-reading the pre-flowers. All of the training I have done to these girls is Nugbuckets inspired, just a bit of a training mess up, but I understood the concept and implemented it as best I could with what I had

All I know is the girls look like artwork .
I never trained mine, but just topped and encouraged..and thinned out the unwanted suckers.

UPDATE(day 28)
pics of the room:IMG_0809.jpgIMG_0808.jpgIMG_0807.jpg
pics of plant 1 has the most trichome production, looks the most querkle dom:IMG_0821.jpgIMG_0820.jpgIMG_0819.jpgIMG_0811.jpgIMG_0810.jpg
pics of plant 2, most pungent but smallest buds and most strech, smells like I dont know ahaha, but it smells good!:IMG_0825.jpgIMG_0824.jpgIMG_0823.jpgIMG_0822.jpg
pics of plant 3, most sativa, probably Trainwerck dom, least trichome production but tightest bud growth, fattest stem, and funnily enough the shortest! I would have to say its my favorite plant:IMG_0833.jpgIMG_0831.jpgIMG_0830.jpgIMG_0828.jpgIMG_0827.jpgIMG_0826.jpgthat first picture is the smallest cola
and other news, I've started to cut back on nutes, and something else I probably forget to mention but cant think of now

I remember now, theres going to be a lot of popcorn, and a light harvest for a few different reasons: 1. I didnt trim off enough growth before flowering. 2. I cant fit them under the light 3. they are really squashed because there is not much space, and because of that and reason 2 there is very little light penetration. 4. I sucked at training them so its not an even canopy so no equal light penetration. 5. this grow honestly makes me sad, I could have done so much better, and now I'm reaping the failure, next time....

Looks good to me.... :weed:
Too hard on yourself, but we are always our own worst critic.

Frosty btw!!
I agree, it looks like you did a good job to me as well.... Keep in mind hind sight is always 20/20 and you will always be your worst critic, but thats a good thing it shows you give a shit about your work and that means it will always be improving.... When I give my buds to people I say all kinds of bad things like its not my greatest work and just things that would decrease my sales if anything..... then I get that 20 minute later call and they can barely talk, and all I can make it out of what they are saying is its the best shit they've ever had.... can they get more..... Being on sites like roll it up and seeing what the vet growers produce will always make you feel...... inadequate (LOL) for lack of a better term... but as long as you like and care about what your doing and wanna make it better, it will always get better..... Take note (as you did in your post) of what you think you did wrong and could do better next time and do it, thats all you can do....

You did some good work, I hope my current run comes out as good....

Edit: and seriously.... the things you listed are very easily correctable things... I've screwed those up every time so far...

yeah easily correctable, just not on this batch, and yeah that was pretty much what I was thinking, all of these solid nugs around me make me feel like mine are asian-sized (ahahahahahahah!). I have a question, these have about 4 weeks left, and if i were to taper of nutes by 1/2 tbsp weekely, which was what I wanted to do, then by the last week it would be plain water, but they are already fading, and its at the normal amount of nutes i was supposed to feed them, so my question is should I pound them with nutes until the last week and then just feed plain water? or taper off as was the original plan? what would the pros and cons be of both if its one of those "your choice" things
