my closet bud dryer

Puched a hole in my veg room into this closet, installed an eight inch duct fan. Framed up a couple racks and bought two 2' x 4' extending screens to set on top. hung a big blanket in the doorway.

Takes three or four days to dry properly and the buds don't get as crispy on the outside as they did before. I also like that I can cut the buds off the stem and don't have to trim around them.

My problem with the traditional method was not having a suitable room to hang all the branches in. The old room had was much too dry, and the outside of the buds were getting crumbly, while the inside was still wet. Rather than buy a humidifier, a buddy and I came up with this idea.

cool, so is that the intake to your veg room because if not it could be heating your buds, also you need an intake for your tray, id put it at the bottom so air is forced through the screens. nice ingenuity

I didn't build the closet, just put racks into it.

The fan is exhausting from the veg room, but the air isn't too warm. There is another larger fan/filter that exhausts outside. The fan into the closet isn't pushing a lot of air, really its just enough to keep it from getting stale in there.
