my dad cut off some of the leaves on the top sides of my cola

he showed me this pile of green leaves, dried out. and told me he cut them off yesterday and was letting them dry out next to a lamp.

i said "wtf.. which leaves"

and he said "a few leaves from the top"

im fucking pissed. he took off some of the long 1-fingered leaves growing towards the tops of the main, biggest cola. THOSE ARE THE FUCKING SOLAR PANELS. THEY ABSORB THAT ENERGY FOR THE BUDS, THEY DONT ABSORB IT THEMSELVES

i can't believe he hurt my baby like that. he could tell i was pissed, but wasnt acting like it. those leaves will not do anything to him when he smokes them. they had practically no trichomes on them. waste of my beautiful ladies fingers

and what's worse, when I explained that those leaves helped it grow, he said "well we don't want it to grow we want it to finish"

i said "no no, it needs to ripen all the way"

and he goes "it looks pretty ripe"

the plant is only 4-5 weeks into budding. I said its got atleast a month or more left and he looked at me and shook his head like i was some stuck up stingy asshole.

I JUST WANT TO GROW THIS LADY AND LET HER MATURE, you think someone as old as he is would understand the nature of plant biology.
