My design for a mini cab grow using a HON filing cabinet

Hi everyone,

Here are some pics of a cabinet I'm designing...

I have a HON 4 drawer filing cabinet that I'm going to convert into 2 flowering chambers. Anyway, to help visualize, and also get down some much needed dimensions, I drew up a plan of 1 chamber in Google sketchup.

Basically it has 1 air cooled HPS 250w with a glass tube and computer air fans to vent the heat. In the back are two fans...bottom in, top out...also to help provide air flow and regulate temp. The growing solution I decided on is a hybrid system. It basically is a self watering container designed to fit 12, 4" rock wool cubes. The depressions on the floor will have small perforated tubes running down them. the tubes will all be connected together and then to an air pump that will bubble the the standing water or nutrient solution. Currently, I need to build this planter and test it out. I KNOW I will find some design flaws, but I'll work it out. Please feel free to comment. All constructive criticism (or praise and adoration) are always welcome.

Thanks,
HT

lol I was thinking of how I could do this in class today. It's be easy to work with and transportable.

i have a filing cab setup, kind of a pain in the ass to make light tight and the spacers between the drawers are kind of a pain in the ass to work around, im working on making the drawer fronts and the supporters 1 big piece that i can line with black\white poly. im contemplating scrapping everything and buying a tent.
