My dirt!

First time grower. I have miracle grow potting soil, play sand, peat moss, and perlite. That was the easiest stuff for me to get a hold of. This a good combo? And how much of each would you mix together as your medium if this was what you had to work with? I like shopping local for soil stuff.

Not sure if it matters but my first grow will be nirvana bubblelicious!!! Can't friggin wait!!!

Any hints, advice, info is GREATLY appreciated!

DONT USE MIRACLE GROW INVEST IS SOME GOOOD SOIL. it wil burn the fuck outa your plants.

No it wont....you can use MG...haters will hate. I reccomend jiffy seed starting..its not soil..its more powdery..helps with not overwatering.

Don't use MG soil as your whole medium. That will burn the fuck out of your plant if you put a seedling in there, use about 10% of the MG soil if you're putting a seedling in there, and use the other medium additives along with it. I would give the soil a nice watering and let it dry out before using it as soil if I were you just so I don't induce nute burn on the young seedlings.

Is there any soil sold at lowe's, home depot, or Walmart that's better than miracle grow? Or what's a good online source for soil?

Jiffys is at wal-mart. REALLY good for beginners.

is that just for seed starting or is that soil for the entire growth?

I use it for the whole grow.

OR google or look in the yellow pages for a hydro store!! If you are trying to be a serious grower...plus it has all the options! Fuck walmart support your small local business!!!
