She' really shaping up. Eight weeks of flowering and still going strong. Getting close to 6 feet tall. I love the pic of the bud. I'm feeling good about my first grow. Sure hope the neighbor doesn't get nosey. I think about another 2 or 3 weeks and she'll be ready.

I got one of those 100X lighted Radio Shack microscopes today and checked out my plants. The plant in this thread has almost all milky trics and when I checked the scope out after I finished it was sticky as hell. Like someone put some honey on it. And it smells GREAT.
I know everyone says give it another 4 or 5 weeks but I really want Uplifting weed. I'm a professional musician and I need something that will give me a lift between sets not knock me out. I think I'll let her go till I just start seeing some amber T's.

when growing outdoors the trichromes usually start out cloudy. you really want to wait at least 4 more weeks.:weed:

Thanks Fdd I'll take your advise. I'm being anal about getting an upper pot because couch lock pot is always available to me from local growers I know. I hate taking a couple hits between sets and then spacing out about 3 songs into the next set. You know, when you count off the song like 1...2...what the fuck's the next number uh....numbers, I don't need no stinkin' numbers. I had a good number the other night with Clyde....

I've been tempted to snip a little and titch it off but I'm gonna be patient. I saw Fdd's thread about sampling but I know I'd be cutting and microwaveing like a MoFo in couple of days once I got started. So I'll wait till its ready and cure it properly.

That's great plant Chester and for it to be your first, it's excellent. Waiting is difficult to say the least. :wall: The only weed I can get is the kind that gives a body stone and I like the head high so much better. I know what you mean when you're reading music when high. :shock: LOL!!!!

This thread has put my mind at ease. I'm glad to know I'm not the only impatient one.

I've been picking buds off for the past few weeks as well. I put them on my hotbox vaporizer with it on. In about 30 mins i have some very unsmokable green sticky stuff but it seems to vaporize just fine. Very heady. I'm having such a hard time waiting.

Yeah, one of the groups I play with is a 6 piece Jazz group. We play straight ahead jazz and BeBop. If I do some couch lock I can't even read the music. My favorite group is a Rockin' Soul group. I can sometimes pull it off with that group. But I'm always fine with a heady high. Couch lock is for watching South Park, The Simpsons, Sarah Silverman or Curb your Enthusiasm.
