at the moment im flowering my Ak's like this -
1. molase's
2. canna a+b mixed with hammerheads PK 4/8
3. Miracle gro all purpose souble plant food - - - used this twice so far

i was wondering if the miracle grow was a good idea its 24-8-16 whilst hammer head is 0-4-8

so the miracle grow is providing a nice bit of P and K right?

wondering what you guys thought about my watering tecnique

thanks for any feedback fellah's

it does say on the bck of the miracle to only soak the soil once every 2-4 weeks so i guess i will leave it out now its had it twice within 2 weeks

Quite a complex question so you probably won't get a mass of uses. The way I look at nutes is that you have to calculate what part of nute to water you are using and the ratios of the nutes you are using collectively.

So ignoring the Canna a+b, if you are say using the MG at 5ml per litre and the HH at 1ml per litre, you are looking at the following
(5x 24-8-16 + 1 x 0-4-8) divided by 6 = (120-40-80 + 0-4-8 = 120-44-88) divided by 6 = 20-7.3-22 so your PK nutrient % available would still be high in this example....

Mixing nutrients can be a tricky game.

Good luck.

there is no such thing as a schedule if they ask for it give it to them if they r healthy they dont need it. now my 1 friend he owns a nursury he swears by 1 10th the strength every watering he looks at anything less as just eating on sunday and tryen to live of just drinking water the rest of the week. but the main thing to keep in mind is to little is a way eisier fix that to much

1. The MG is the crappiest fertilizer out there, full of heavy metals and cheap salts. The N/P/K are high too so be very careful when using it. It's also not a "complete" fertilizer, so I would not be using it. Only use a hydroponic fertilizer to ensure everything you need is included. Also, look into chelated micro's that are available at all pH levels- not available with the MG..

2. I fertilize once a week, and use plain water (or maybe I add some hygrozym) all other waterings. But, watch the plants and they will tell you if they need something else i.e. when they yellow up towards the bottom they need N so I add a little blood meal.

3. Molasses can inhibit N uptake if used in higher quantities so I tend to use lightly until the last 2 weeks of flowering when it's just plain water. I jump from 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon then. Every watering though.

yeah i was using the MG only for the nitrogen boost but will leave it out from now on, only used twice and there seems to be no harm done,

im using 1/2 - 3/4 tea spoon of molasses per 4.5 litres of water right now

1 tablespoon every water for the last 2 weeks nute flush out then, hmm i should think about started my flush any day now i think i will add pk mixed with canna once or twice more then start the flush

you want the last 2 numbers to be higher.so more phosphorus and potassium not hardly any of the first number which is nitrogen

I find if I fertilize anytime the last 2 weeks it leaves a "chemical" taste in the bud.......... other friends will quickly point that out to me too when they get theirs. The molasses does impart a "sweet" taste to the bud and does have some mild doses of certain nutrients. The N source in the MG is amonia based, which is a cheap source and causes problems with nute lockout.
