My First Attempt

Alright. I have been here and there in the RIU community for a little while now and have made some threads, but I just want to know about what people think about my first setup, still need to do a few things but, so far it consists of:

- 2Lx2Wx3H box, painted white inside.

- 2 x 2L pots, with shitty miricle grow soil.

- 2 x 42w CFL's (2600 lumens) of 2700k light each.

- doing 12-12fs for light cycle.

Still in the process of getting a little 6" fan and making a chimney like ventilation system, consisting of:

- 6" hole cut somewhere near top of box.

- 6" ABS/Other piping 45 degree angle mounted to hole.

- 6" fan pointing out the hole, through the piping.

- A bounce sheet taped loosely to the pipe, carbon rocks onto the sheet then another sheet taped tightly over that while air coming from the box blows through this constantly i think it'll remove some smell for a little odour control.

Also interested in all types of grows big and small would like to see pics, or simply hear about your grows so drop a reply.

More lights! more lights! And being as we're stoners (generally) that find stimulation from the visual...some pics would be of great help!

Oh, and well come to RIU! There's some here who excel in growing herb...

bro the lighting is inadequate for 1 plant not just 2. Also 2l pots dam theyre small so you will have very small plants. Miracle grow soil hmm fuck that. Your extraction is fine though. I suggest you get better soil, off net or a garden centre, specify for indoors this will mean no pests etc but any good soil that inst nutrient soaked. I would get 7.5l pots or even 10l pots to transplant your plants into when they are 4inches or so high as past that a 2l pot will fuck the roots. I would get 10 more cfls or atleast 6 more and try mix warm white and cool white while always keeping the lights within 3 inch distance of your plants, get a oscilating fan and white reflective sheeting and veg and bloom nutes, learn lst and ul have a few oz of boom weed in return. And 12/12 from seed in soil first grow, ul get 3grams maybe 14grams if ur super lucky but 2 months thats quite shit, Goodluck anyway, peace

Looks pretty good man but is this your first time? If not then how airy/fluffy were your buds last time, and if ya dont mind me asking how much did ya pull ?
